Build
The Iron comes with Philips’ premium-make SteamGlide soleplate for smooth gliding over any cloth regardless of the material with 2200 W of power enabling a constant high steam output to make it easier to slide and smoothen. With a drip stop system in place, the iron also ensures that the steam does not stain the garment that you are ironing. It also comes with calc buster pills that break down calc so that it is easier to flush way.
Performance
Ensuring that creases are in a straight line and wrinkles are a thing of the past, the Philips iron employs 32 g/min of steam and 100 g steam boosts to reduce manual efforts to get clothing in smart conditions.
This Philips Iron gives out continuous steam upto 32g/min for better removal of creases.
You needn't worry about stubborn creases as this iron has a 100g steam boost option to remove creases easily and effectively.
Use the drip-stop system to keep your garment spotless from the water droplets while ironing. It is especially useful for avoiding water stains on delicate garments. The capacity of the iron's water tank is 300ml.
There is also the option of variable steam settings.
The iron comes with a calc clean slider that makes it easy to remove scale out of your iron. This scale clean option allows you to maintain your Philips steam iron. Also, this device uses calc buster pills to clean the calc from the iron. These pills break down the calc so that it can be flushed away easily. This process can be done once a month.

Packing was not up to the expectation. But the product is worth a buy for people whose iron everyday!
The only trouble is that it doesn't fit to the normal 3-pin plug and you will have to search for the right place and plug point to use. Should as well search for a compatible adapter with which we can use it at every 3 pin plug point.

The heating is awesome and the glide plate is very good indeed.
The water reservoir is adequate in size and needs refill after every 20-25 articles of pants and shirts - of course not all cotton or linen.

Excellent steam iron at a reasonable price !!!!
However the steam-glide soleplate does pick up colour from fabrics that loose colour, one needs to clean it after use.
The plug requires a 15 AMP type socket, buyers needs to factor it in their purchase decision. Also Philips should consider revising the chord length to 3 meters for Indian households.

Also pl note the wattage, requires heavy duty plug point and fuse. In my openion product is good with steam ironing but for most of the cases basic ironing is sufficient. Pl look for best Philips in sub INR1000 range.
Request flipkart to include some standard items like coin or pen along with product photo so that it's size can be perceived better.
