Philips GoGear RaGa 4 GB MP3 Player

I searched for this in few retail shop but everywhere the price is arround 2900/-.Finally got it from flipkart@2310.A very good deal.

It sounds really good.Very compact and stylish look with a 1" color screen.But the headphones are having very poor quality.Use this player with high end sony or samsung headphones.

At last thanks to flipkart for such a good and promt service service.Trully flipkart is the amazon of india.

Guys i was searching for an good mp3 player , i bought it a bought it a week ago and here are the results.As usual it came with a great packaging from Flipkart . Hats off to Flipkart.
Pros:
1) Great mp3 player,very compact and rubberised finesh and rugged build.
2)Small but vibrant screen with adjustable themes
3)FM Radio
4)Full sound is really good and it really boosts up the audio quality.
5)5 audio presets and a custom setting which all work wonderfully.
6) Earphones are really great , have decent bass and treble levels, Mid's and High's are also well balanced .
7)Nice user friendly interface, Nice scrolling through the playlists,folder view is very handy.
8)Battery life is very good.

Cons:
1)There is no voice recording.
2)In ear Headphones could be supplied.
3)Feels a bit expensive.
4)The viewing angle of the screen is really worst, the screen looks white and orange from sideways.
5)When we use the full sound with a good earphones with a very good bass the earphones disort's.
6)buttons get pressed at very less pressure and the volume up key is hard to press with a large fingers , we can easily get mistaken and press the menu key.
Verdict:
Great Mp3 player, If audio quality is most necessary for u then all the other minor flaws shouldn't affect you , it easily beats the apple ipod shuffle.Great battery life... etc.

This mp3 player has excellent sound feels like surround sound. Volume is excellent too. Can drown the loudest of traffic sounds.
The size is nice too, fits in the palm very well and has a nice rubber back which makes it easy to grip.
Philips songbird is very user friendly software that seamlessly syncs to your PC.
Price wise to this deal is great, as the printed price states Rs 2999/-
Kudos to flipkart too, they came to deliver in exactly 3 days but I wasn't home and requested them to come again on sunday and they delivered even os sunday!

This player does everything... Seriously, I mean it.
I am using Philips GoGear for the last 3 years and recently I bought myself this 4GB version. ( 2GB was getting small for my song collection ).

The interface is simple, easy to use. The sound quality is very good and they give your equalizers to tweak it to your liking. Battery backup is amazing with one packing enough juice to play continuously for 20 hours. The FM is decent enough and I LOVE the FM Recording feature...

By the way, this player gives you the feature of "deleting" songs directly which amazingly most players don't have !

Although, the headphones provided are not of a very good quality. You have to get yourself a decent set to enjoy it fully.

However, if you are looking for the best sound quality, I'd suggest the Sony Walkman series. Its like a mini-woofer in you pocket...

This is not to take anything away from RaGa. This thing is the Swiss Army Knife for your Audio !

I'm a new customer of flipkart n this was the first product i bought....got the delivery on 2nd day...i'm using it since 1month n its awsum...
Now lets discuss about the product-
>stylish looks
>good lcd display
>gud battery life
>gud quality sound, good bass, but is't sound is very low as compared to sony n Apple etc other products
>the earphone sound quality isnt gud get a gud1 lik sony

Overall best product at this price..
