Philips GoGear ViBE 16 GB MP4 Player

Hi there,
First of all I Take a bow to Flipkart Services, I ordered the product yesterday afternoon & today noon I found the delivery guy on my Doorstep.. Neatly packed & completely taken care of , thanks again Flipkart.
Now few things about the Go Gear , Let me tell you guyz that this is one of the best music player Around , with superb & crystal clear sound quality , small & sturdy & great in handling with a rubberish finish .
16 GB so far is the best memory as I think , it’s not too much to get confused over which track to play & not too less that you miss out your favorite tracks , stores about 3600/- songs ( quoted on official website ) .
It comes with regular & normal earphones, good for beginners, but for core music lovers like me who need bass & powerful output I would suggest use external branded Headphones like Sennhieser , beats or Bosch , As I always say not only player do the wonders but Earphones are equally important .
Philips patented “Full Sound” does Wonders, enhances the sound & restores the quality to the original CD level. so if you activate full sound then there is no need to look into the EQ presets . Even the navigation is super fast & that too without any lags. Coming to the FM, quality is good with powerful signal.
Few things I thought should’ve been improved are: - plastic buttons I fear they’ll come out to say hi someday , secondly there was no reason to name it MP4 & give it a video player option , what’s the big deal in watching videos on a 1.8” display? Same goes with pictures too, there’s totally no need of videos & pictures on it.
one more thing but not the least : Philips Y no recording feature ???? Wud've given 5 stars if it had the feature.

Anyways these things wouldn’t bother you if you are looking for gadget only to listen music , & I can firmly say it wouldn’t dissatisfy you a bit ….at last its Philips guyz. ;)

MP4 player, they call it, resolution 160*128, lowest possible resolution. Video player might cause eye problem if you watch it long. Right navigation button already seems to be falling apart. Doesn't have an inbuilt speaker. No inline recording. No memory card support. All this are present in transcend MP870 mp4 player (available in flipkark itelf)for 3600, only 60% of this gig's price.

I haven't used that transcend player but I have just highlighted the extra functions for your reference. i am not sure of transcend's quality. Please research yourself.

The pros about this philips player are it has 16GB, audio songs and fm quality are good, navigation is very fast, look is OK, very light weight and petite (much smaller than what u see in the picture, just the size of ur palm) and it has a dedicated charger. Transcend and most of the other mp3 players might ( but i am not sure) not have a dedicated charger. thats the only thing thats consoling me.

This is one of the best mp3 players I have ever used. I am acquainted to it in just one day.

I have already used Apple iPod, iPhone; Sony - NWZ E 373 et al.

Believe me I honestly prefer this one than the rest. By the way, I haven't bought from flipkart but the product is good that it made me to write a review here. So, that fellow musicians can pick the right mp3 player for a better price.

Best things about it are:

1. 16 GB memory
2. Friendly User Interface to choose songs that you want to play (artist wise/album wise/playlists)
3. It provides us software called SONGBIRD which is very much similar to that of iTunes and allows us to sync music in an organized way and create playlists too. (After all, how well you can organize your music is what actually needed).

PS: Buy a good headset to enjoy it rightly. Cheers

the deals from flipkart are very true it seemed me and the product which i purchased Philips GoGear ViBE 16 GB MP4 Player is really working good as i received it in a very good condition..it is really worth buying from this site though this was my first online deal happened. happy to review this item.
