The specs say that you can make 5 cups of rice.. but if you try to cook 5 cups it will be until the brim of the cooker, and might overflow also. Its only labelled a rice cooker, but i cook a myriad of other stuff with it!
My job requires me to travel around a lot and this cooker fits in perfectly in a bag which has size limitations and weight limitations.
To cook one's own food in a foreign country makes you feel right at home. :)
