This induction cooktop looks good and has a number of useful features. There is a slight delay in tactile feedback; or on occasions, you need to press a bit hard on supposedly 'feature touch' buttons. The manual is unattractive; no recipe books are included. For those using such a product for the first time, the lack of a good beginner's guide is indeed regrettable. Product makes promises and delivers - but Flipkart Disappoints

Flipkart: Ordered on 10th Nov 2012, Received on: 21st Nov 2012 - Best Offer (at the time of ordering), Brilliant packaging. The product was delivered to the exact location by First Flight Couriers.

Delivery Related problem: It took 11 days to deliver the product! Thought it was supposed to reach by 19th Nov 2012. 'I guess it happens sometimes.'

Meets all my requirements

induction stove cooking is fabulous..no additional heat from the cook top ..no wastage of time...absolute safety....just watchout for the working principle of induction stove and you will be amazed how the heating happens. Just by magnetic vibration of atoms the product is heated..this have vast advantages compared to traditional cooking meaans....this product has max reviews and after buying it and using it iam really satisfied. Decent looking and good performance of Philips HD4909 Induction cook top

I am writing my opinion about this induction cook top (Philips HD4909) after using it for last two months. Before buying this product, I had doubt about its functioning / operation as someone else mentioned on this forum (flipkart) that this product is nothing but a conventional heater (rather than induction cook top). Great product, competitive price

I have been using this for over 3 months now and the product has been performing flawlessly. The all glass touch sensitive surface makes it a breeze to clean, not to mention it looks good too.

Good One

This is a very good purchase, it truly reduces cooking time by atleast 30%. Looks sturdy and works well. Best thing I like about this is its very easy to use and at around 2 kg, it is portable enough. We are using it as an addon to LPG gas stove and I am sure we will save lot of LPG in process as it cooks everything faster, much faster. We should have bought it much earlier. Surprisingly, Flipkart delivery was a issue with this order for me.

Great Induction cooktop

This is my second induction cooktop and I have been happy with both. The first one was a borrowed westinghouse unit which I used for a few months. I have been using this for a few months now.

I looked around quite a bit and all the cooktops are in the same ballpark in terms of price and features. This is a Philips brand and had the highest watt range. Also it came with a free induction cooking utensil which made it a no brainer.
