Philips HP6400 Hair Removal Epilator

First of all i dont feel shy, embarrassed or odd in any way to write this review being a Guy talking about hair removal on an open forum.

Secondly, this product is not gender, age or skin type specific. Its Equally effective either ways.

Thirdly, let me summarise the Pros and Cons

Pros
Long Cord
Design is thankfully not girly
Excellent skin after epilation - Clean, soft yet looks manly (took time getting used to it but was amazed with the results)
Gets Easier and Results become better on each epilation
Hair Regrowth slows down further on each epilation
Washable Head
Easily Disposable Hair

Cons
After epilation skin rashes/pimples can be a big Hassle initially
(its basically caused by ingrown hair and not actually because of epilation)(Hot water baths + Talc before epilation and using Moisturizer or Shave lotion after it - Helps)

Will Really Hurt if part is Hairy or Hair are long - gets easier with time - trimming the hair as short as you can before epilation helps

Avoid using near sensitive areas - even Abs area should be avoided

Not effective on wet hair (wet hair hurt much less but you need uplifted hair for epilation purposes)

Have to go over some areas multiple times

The Sound of the Machine is Scary :p

All in all a fantastic and much convenient product. Pain experienced is like ants' bite but its worth the effort and easily controllable.

Very disappointed with this product. It is a very painful process. Its like tiny little shocks on the skin while using it. And, still doesn't do the job. Only if i slide it across the skin 4-5 times continuously will it actually work. It works better on the legs, since the skin isn't as soft the hands.
This isn't the first time i'm using an epilator, i have used Remington's epilator which was excellent. I couldn't feel a thing, except for the loud sound. I used it for 4 years, until it got damaged and couldn't be repaired. I think buying something like this online, is not a good idea. Better to visit a store and try it out personally. I can't even exchange it now. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

This is a very good product in a reasonable price. Easy to use. Washable Head made it easier to clean.

Great product!

The epilator works on two speed option which is really great. Low speed can be effectively used for softer areas where it hurts more. The epilator is easy to hold,very effective on high speed, good chord length, washable top makes you stay put at hygiene.It can take out smallest of hair on your skin! I really loved how easily and smoothly it worked on my skin.

It does make noise when the tweezers work.

Contrary to the horrific look it gives out with it's tweezers, it really works wonders.
