Philips HQ130 2 Headed Shaver Reviews

Perhaps my review might be a little skewed because this is the first (good) electric shaver that I have purchased and used. I had bought some cheap chinese product many years back and it still gives me the shivers to think of the lousy shave I got from that. It was pathetic, pulling hairs out and gave me a bad rash. That put me away from even thinking of electric shavers for a long time.

So it was with a bit of skepticism that I bought the HQ130. But on my first shave itself, I was impressed. But I wanted to see how it would perform over a number of uses hence the late review.

After weeks of using this, I am still happy with the product. I only have trouble with it on places where the beard grows against the "grain". I have to really run up and down this area again and again for the shaver to catch all the hair. Also, it drains normal batteries quite quickly. But it still runs well. I need to buy new Duracell batteries and see how they last. I guess it will be better.

Overall, I am very happy with this product. My only thing - if a 2 headed shaver can do such a good job, how good will be a Philips 3 headed shaver? :)

Flipkart and its superfast delivery are two great things present!
Apart from this, the product I found was not upto my satisfaction.
It requires a lot of cleaning after every use and does not do the job well. The skin is pulled in the first few instances.
All I can say is that the shaver does the job and thats it!
If you are looking for something better, you need to shell out more money. For the price I pad for it, its okay!

Belive me , it really meets our expections to be a great shaver.
am using it daily since 20 days for 3 mins a day. and the same set of alkaline batteries still work. perfect close shave, provided one knows how to do circles with it on your beard. not recommended for people who use it once in 4 to 5 days.
its typically for daily shavers. and believe it never upset me with some of the complaints i read from other reviews. happy shaving :-)

I bought this shaver couple of months back and after a week's usage, Its there along with electronic dump at the edge of the city.
Totally bad!
-It pains when using this for shaving.
-Too much noise.
-The hair gets easily stuck within the blades in 1 min of usage. Have to open and clean it again to use it.

Don't go for it!

I have used this product for almost half year now.
The delay in writing was in order to determine the longevity of the product.

Pros :

~ It is an easy to use shaver. Perfect for first timers
~ Put in 2 Duracell batteries 6 months back , use it every weekend. Low power consumption.
~ Light and easy to clean
~ Quality of shave has not degraded yet.

Cons :

~ tends to get heated up if used over 7-10 minutes continuously. Though that much time is not needed for a single shave, it was worth mentioning.
~ Users having sensitive skin may find it a bit itchy during first couple of uses.

P.S. People have rubbish opinions of shavers affecting skin and batteries heating tissues and all. Pay no heed. These are super cool gadgets, with terrific ease of use meant for on the run people , who prefer to stay presentable.

Am i also supposed to appraise Flipkart's "superb service" again ? Kudos Guys !!

The best shaver from a reputed brand at competitive price. Very useful for a nice shave in a quick time. Scratching or rashes didn’t happen to me. Very happy with the shaver. And as usual Flipkart's service as always is the BEST

Its been a bit allergetic and pinching senstion with this kind of head. I think the bar head would be a better option than this. Other than its performance, the product is good to look at and battery consumption is good.

Bought this after good reviews, little disappointed to be honest. I have good coarse beard and this little one does struggle to give me a clean shave. The batteries typically last 3 shaves .. bear needs to be absolutely dry and skin soft for best reslt.

1)its pretty good product.
2)its not work for above 15 days beard.
3)and also it will not cut 3days beard.
4)if the battery is low it will pull the hair.

It is a simple traveling shaver. it would be better if u spent some more money on a better trimmer.

honestly speaking i never give pain to my fingers in writing reviews.but this is the product which drove me back to this site for writing reviews.
pros:
-gives the cleanest shave without any pain even in reverse direction
-its really a user friendly gizmo.even a child can use it
-two alkaline battery gives 1hr of continous shaving.
-flipkart service is truely awesome.it delivered me within 2 days and even u can keep the track of your shipment every 10
mins.
cons:
-gives a bit of irritation for first couple of weeks.
