Function
The HR1350/C hand blender is great for whipping up creamy shakes, thick smoothies and fluffy cake batter. The fine blending ability of the HR1350/C is ideal for baby foods as it leaves no chunks in the final mixture. The Philips HR1350/C is meant for intermittent operation and should not to be used continuously for more than a minute.
The Philips HR1350/C offers a single speed setting with pulse action for added control. The long slender shaft allows the hand blender to reach into a range of pitchers, pans and bowls; eliminating the need to use and clean extra vessels.
Safety and Convenience
The Philips HR1350/C comes with a detachable leg for easy dismantling and cleaning. The Blade Guard serves to minimize the amount of splatter and also to prevent the blades from slamming on to the sides of the container. A comfortable handle with an ergonomic grip gives added control and relaxed hold even during extended duration.
Always ensure that you start and stop the blender when it is still immersed in the liquid to prevent splatter. The Philips HR1350/C is designed to blend hot liquids; however, the appliance should not be used on a saucepan whilst it is still on the fire. The Hand Blender sports an extra-long chord with rounded cables for improved flexibility and movement. Lines on the body
This is a solid product. It function is flawless. But I noticed two lines on each side of its body because of the manufacturing process used. It should not bother you normally but might be helpful info for some. Its made in India.
The best part is how less time you have to spend with it to get your work done. No transferring from one bowl to another and put it in a bowl with water and spin to clean. amazingly quick.

Its not user friendly guys.
It does not have a on-off button. Instead it has a rubber type switch which is very difficult to use. I have gifted this hand blender to my mum but she is not at all happy with it.
No one can use it consistently in ON position. It needs very firm finger pressure on the rubber to switch it on. I wish if philips would not have experimented the new switch with this blender, consumers would have been happier :(

dont buy this product ..excessive heating after a little use..
Do not buy this product as it heats up just after light and little use.for e.g if you make a glass full of mango shake or make a puree from just 3 to 4 onions it will heat up so much that your hands can feel the heat and get burning sensations.
I called up flip kart executives , but they told me that they could do nothing since i had called just one day after completion of 30 days when the product was delivered...

Had read reviews earlier on flipkart about the unusual push button of this blender but thought to gave it a try. Flipkart service was upto mark & delivered the product within 2-3 days. My fear became true as soon as I tried to switch on the blender. The rubber type switch was very difficult to use & after couple of tries , machine stopped working.Immediately ordered fo r a replacement with Orpat HHB-137E which is a far better machine.
Would definitely recommend you to first try it at a store if you are seriously thinking of buying the same.
