About Philips HR 1363-
I was looking for a hand blender as I wasn't interested in the bulky mixers for whom u need a dedicated space & all ...hence looking for something handy....and dis product was a perfect one to my requirement and budget as well .....but was a bit skeptical whether the chopper is decent enough ...specially I could't find any reviews for Dhaniya/Tomato chutney :) ..anyhow gave a try on my own and I no more need any reviews ....the chopper & turbo combination is Awesome specially for chutney lovers :)......and the blending jar & turbo too

A bit of a let down
Reading the reviews I thought this would be an awesome product. However it is a bit bulky ( too long ) to begin with. I just used the chopper/chutney bowl as I needed it mainly for chopping, however I found that the blades were not too shart. and it dosen't really chop but rather grinds stuff a bit rough. the tomatoes got pureed when I tried to chop, not sure if tomatoes cannot be chopped. But even the raisins and the dates i tried got blended rather than chopped. I'm a bit dissapointed with the product for the price I have paid. Though flipkart service is excellent.
Didnt meet my expectations :(
Looks - much smaller than what it shows in pictures.
Efficiency - based on the specs givena and reviews on fk blender can make paste and chutney.. well, i dont think its capable.. it can be used only for smoothies, shakes, all soft item preparation
I gifted mom on her bday especially for her day to day activities of making chutney, paste, etc.. i dont think it does the job so well :((

Philips HR 1363 Hand Blender
I recently ordered the Philips HR1363 Hand Blender from Flipkart, and I am actually quite happy with it. Both the blending and chopping functions are good and have an added advantage of the Turbo function. One can easily prepare chutneys, soups, pasta sauces etc. And needless to say, I have always been delighted by Flipkart's service - absolutely spot-on delivery.
