Philips HR1453 Hand Blender

I received this product within two days. I made a frittata (fancy name for an omelette) the minute I received it. It turned out very light and fluffy! The blender has a good grip and has a flat bottom which makes it easy to stand. Place a plate under the beaters to avoid making a mess from the dripping. It helps to have 3 speed settings along with it's individual turbo modes. The beats and dough hooks are easy to take out and wash. So overall a good investment.
P. S. I'm giving it 4 stars because no one and nothing can be absolutely perfect. :)
P. P. S. There might be a slightly odd smell. It wont affect the blend and will most probably go away. (Most mixers, blenders and hair dryers have that smell.)

This is a great thing. It is a must if u bake cakes and make ice creams at home. I already hv one and I am planning to gift one too this festive season. it is very handy and easy to use. It is non rusty and the blades eject out easily than other brands.

Got the product in a couple of days of ordering it. Its decent and convenient to use. Easy to operate 3 speed control. Very easy and non messy while churning butter from curd. Also nice to beat eggs for cakes and pastries, but personally would have preferred a 300W motor. No complaints though. But i am quite not so comfortable with the kneading function. Any day kneading is easier done in a food processor.
Fully detachable hook attachments makes for hassle free cleaning.

Bought this as gift for new Year for my wife as she had recently started baking a lot, and we were borrowing a hand blender from our neighbour.

It turned out to be a veru good gift. We have prepared many cakes in this one month this Hand blender did its job very efficiently. We are able to bake a cake in 45 minutes every time we bake. Its powerful and the design is very good so that you can place it on the table standing straight, the dripping is taken care of that way. The material of the machine is also top notch and not some cheap metal and plastic. The cleaning can get a bit difficult, but that is applicable for all the blenders because of the shape of the metal blending pieces.

There is one more set for making bread and such tougher doughs, but havent tried that yet.

I recently bought this product and I have nothing but kind words to describe it.

The device is elegant and is easy to use. It is also I believe the best in its category.

There is one very very small drawback - The lowest speed could perhaps be a notch lower; that would have worked better when mixing wet and dry ingredients like when baking a cake. However, as a simple workaround, I just use a cover to cover 80% of the bowl and things just workout fine.

For those of you looking to buy something that is the best value for your money, you'll hit the jackpot with this hand mixer.
