Philips HR7625 Food Processor

We bought this product thinking that it would reduce our vegetable cutting time. It has as much pros as cons !
pros : The blades are really sharp, does the chopping, grating very fast.
cons : u cant cut the vegetable in any desired shapes. Either u hv to grate it or chop it. there is no bigger size cutting.
For grating the carrots,cucumber etc hv to be of the size of the channel thro which u put the carrots, bigger size wont happen. So to make chips i cant used big potatos as they wont fit into the feeder. without the lid, it just doesnt run.

Manual paper is of bad quality..feels as though u bought a second hand book. Also the manual doesnt mention that unless the jar and lid are in locked position, the machine doesnt run.

Overall good m/c if u want just slicing, grating and chopping small pieces of vegs/fruits. But not for sabzi/sambar size veg cuts. !!!

I bought the food processor last week and I am very Happy with the product and the service of flipkart. The jar of the food processor is fragile I would recommend to use foam while you are cleaning it rather than regular scotch brite.

All in all a fantastic product by Philips.

Ive ordered this Philips HR1625 Food Processor from Flipkart because i found the rate reasonable and my earlier kenstar food process was giving me lot of trouble since i bought it it went already about 6 times for repairing.but this Philips food processor is so cool and sleek ,small and takes less storage space and less gadgets to handle and most best thing i liked about it is the sound very less sound while grinding or kneading.And i got so impressed with Flip cart as they delivered it in just 2 days time and the packing system was so beautiful and innovative and safe...it was so good that my mother in law got so impressed that she asked me to order one for her too and so i did..so far its in good condition.and Ive taking a liking to flipcart service and items that ive ordered so many items from them...

The product is very good and worth the price.... Flipkart service is prompt... Very useful when there is not much time for a quick lunch or dinner... Would recommend for people who already have a mixie and just want options like making dough, cutting vegetables, etc

And about the product, It's a budget food processor that gives you a lot of function going by it's price. Probably the cheapest in this range of the food processors. But you will surely mourn about only two modes of speed and you really can't cut the vegetables into the shape you want to, It's either too big or to small. Overall, you can go with this if you're not looking for too precise cutting and all because this is probably the best you can get at this price.
