Product works with some snags, delivery mode needs upgrade
I have used the 9"version of the product from US for the past 2 years. It stopped working last month, so i bought the 7" version in India.
It works, but does not recognize several DVDs at all. "Wrong Region"comes up for both PAL and NTSC DVDs, and does not go away even after you change the settings. So some of the DVDs are useless for this machine. Would appreciate possible solutions....short of taking it to a Phillips service center (25 kms away for me).
The delivery through First Flight Couriers was mediocre. Their online tracking tool is useless - only showed item leaving one hub and arriving at another. I had to call to find out when it would be delivered. It was delivered in more than the promised 3 days. [Another product that i ordered at the same time -a ladies watch-has not been delivered at all despite texts and emails from Flipkart confirming receipt of order. Fortunately it was COD so i have stopped worrying. In-store purchase might be a better option.]

1. Easy to use.
2. Works as advertised.
3. Volume and playback is pretty good. In fact it did a good job of playing a pretty scratched up CD
4. Compact Size.
5. Decent enough build quality.
6. Play music & videos from either USB Drive or optical media.
Cons
1. On/Off switch is slightly irritating.
2. LCD Screen resolution is good, but could have been better.
Haven't tried using an AV cable yet. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a basic DVD player that works well. Overall I am happy with the product.

I presented this DVD Player to my parents before 5 months.

THE PRODUCT IS SIMPLY GR8.. IT WAS IT WAS GR88 BUYING IT FROM FLIPKART THE PRICES ARE FAR CHEAPER IN COMPARISON FROM MARKET
IT PLAYS ALL THE DVDS CD EVEN IF THE DVD ARE SCRATCHED
GR8 BATTERY BACKUP OF 3 HRS.
I BUY 2 PCS OF THE PRODUCT ONE AFTER OTHER ONE 4 ME AND AND OTHER ONE I GIFTED TO MY AUNT .
IT IS DAMN EASY TO OPERATE.

Good Buy for a DVD Player
I recently got this ordered through Flipkart and it's quite good. In fact it's easy to use and when I started using for watching movies without my laptop on, i love it! Good buy with an affordable price and quite light in weight, so I even can carry on the drive and watch movies during pass time in the car.
