Great product and well suited for Indian conditions
A radio was on my wishlist for a long long time. Finally, when I decided to buy, I had to choose between this one and a Sony. I went with Philips as our previous radio which was also Philips was virtually unbreakable and lasted for several years. Another plus point is its great reception quality. Last but not the least, the sound quality is quite good and does not involve too much tuning to get the right frequency.

I purchased a Philips RL 205 Radio in Retail store, they do not supplied batteries as well as AC adptor. I found that, you have facilitated glowing knob but in my suggestion, you should give the lighting in a meter scale it is very useful for us. You had fixed plastic handle instead of steel. You must provide leather cover for the Radio. The leather cover necessary for me where should I get. Overall Radio is good much improved.

It is working with adapter...adapter output range 4.5V to 500MA
In Pune TV band also working I can listen Doordarshan on this radio with FM Channels.
