Philips RL308 FM Radio

I bought this product on spur of moment!!!....My mom wanted to have one good transistor to listen to songs bcoz of Load-shedding!!!...She searched for many days in local shops without any success ,then I just suggested her why not browse it on flipkart as I was regular customer of flipkart.And VIOLA!!!......This beauty I found!!!Superb device nice reception quality my mom was over the moon!!!
I also bought this for my aunt.......both are happy to use this product.......my only hitch was flipkart promised free batteries with this radio set.......my mom got it in her pack but my aunt didn't got her free batteries I wrote a letter to flipkart regarding this ,they said they will look into the matter......still I didn't got any response as it was miniscule matter I also didn't pursued it further......But Service of flipkart & quality of the product is amazing......I will recommend this product to give gift to old people who are found of listening to radio!!!

I got this product for my father. The Product is very good and the sound quality is great. No crackling noise even at high levels. Very light weight and the looks are good too. Glowing knob is very nice to see and the inclusion of a led torch is a novel idea. Got 3 batteries along with the set, but inclusion of a AC power adapter might add great value to money. Overall a very good product by Philips. Packaging and delivery by Flipkart is a good experience. I recommend this product to users and definitely would buy again from Flipkart.

Cons:
1. No R20 1.5v batteries inside
2. No 4.5v Adapter inside
Had to search 15 shops to get only batteries.
Not able to get 4.5v adaptor anywhere. Try hard spend 200 rupees petrol and valuable time to be lucky enough to get 4.5v adaptor
Flipkart as always delivered the product in good condition in 2 days.
Feedback for Flipkart to provide batteries and adaptor and charge for it.

My first thought on opening the box was that it does not look as good as depicted in the photograph and phillips could have done better in terms of build quality. Still a good looking radio.
Has some great features like integrated torch, lighted tuner dial.
The radio has a very long antenna , the reception is great. It's a 3 band radio SW,MW,FM . As expected SW is virtually unsable in city environment due to too much electromagnetic noise.
The sound is loud and clear. However one area where this one let me down is the sound quality in if you attach a headphone is at best mediocre. Overall it's a nice radio in it's price range.

My mom wanted a radio, so after much research and elimination I homed onto this little wonder====the L308!
Solid Phillips build quality, Boombastic Phillips sound with bass emphasis. It has a large LED flash on the side that is a flashlight. The blue glowing LED Tuning Knob Rim is super for night/ dark handling.
Very very high Pick up/signal catching ability. Hardly need to extend the antenna!
The only con==== NO batteries or power adapter n cord provided.
But my mom loves the fact that there is no cord. Cause she takes the little music box every where she goes. Needs three R-20 (BIG ONES) dry cells.
...ah yes it catches TV too!
