High quality booming sound with respect to the size of a speaker is expected these days, though what is not expected is a quality that hides the true size of the speaker. In the case of the Philips SBA 1610 speaker, the size truly defies the quality. The speaker set is capable of a high quality output with a built-in Bass Port, thanks to the 3 W Power Output capacity that comes with it.
The set also sports the Class D Digital Amplifier for great sound quality complemented by the Neodymium speaker drivers. The Class D amplifier is capable of converting raw analog signals into digital signals that get amplified. The amplifier in the SBA 1610 is 90 percent more efficient than other amplifiers in its class. This translates to less signal losses as well.
The battery in the speaker allows it to run for almost 12 hours on a single full charge. You can also use triple A batteries with the device to have flexible control on how long you want to listen to music.
This Philips speaker is embedded with Class 'D' digital amplifier which converts an analog signal into digital and amplifies it digitally. The signal then enters a demodulation filter to give the final output, i.e improved sound quality. Class 'D' amplifiers are more advanced and powerful than conventional AB amplifiers, and occupy minimal space.

Drinks the AAA battery like anything, need to replace batteries twice to watch one movie
