Philips SHM7410U Headset

I bought this headphone few days back and I had to kinda go through plethora of available headphones to choose the best with my budget i.e. below 1000 bucks.

This was the only one which had max reviews esp about mic. Reviews are great and most ppl kinda loved it too much. But for me, its good but not superb! So here's my take:

- Very Good bass
- Sound is clear even on highest level
- Mic is good
- Mic movable so can be turned up when not in use
- There is a switch given to mute the mic along with the volume control
- Wire is long enough to move arnd ur entire room..now this could be a disadv too ha ha but keep it tied and u should be fine at least it provides flexibility

- It is heavy
- Its hard on ears. You'll feel the pain and pressure within 1 hour of use
- Not suitable for prolonged use
- Sound is clear even on the highest sound but the highest sound isn't that high really, could have been better for headphone of this price!
- Too much long wire could be annoying sometimes if not tied up

All in all its a good headphone in this price range but still lacks a few crucial basic needs. I am very happy with sound quality but it just irks me that I cant use it for long time. It may ease with usage but for now it hurts!! So it will make u happy but not satisfied completely.

I am usually in a habit to research a lot about ANY electrical stuff I buy. I found mostly positive reviews for SHM7410, so I trusted.
Right now, I am listening to a Youtube Video, which usually have bad audio.. but even this is sounding GREAT! and works pretty good with my Skype calls too.

Pros - Comfortable on ears, GOOD PRICE for quality, VERY clear sound and bass.
Cons - You wouldn't get the maximum volume, which you may have in others. But even high volume have clarity, no breaking up.

My Advice. Good value for money. Go for it.
As always. 10/10 to Flipkart for their services.

Okay, relied on the comments but they falsified me after all, even though a little.. I’m currently using the headphone for about a month, and as I realized there are a lot of small problems that contributes to making up quite a long “con” list… Anyhow some of the pros and cons are:-
• Pros
1. It’s a good headphone for long hours of listening….
2. Frequency range is also quite high ranging from 20Hz to 20kHz. It means that one can get a clear output of nearly all the pitches made by different instruments…
3. The sound output is totally clear and the bass does not overwhelm it. Obviously that does not mean it does not produce bass
4. Distortion of sound is really less..
5. The bass produced by it is really nice, nice enough to blow the mind of bass lovers. Its like air is blown into the ears.
• Cons
1. Though its meant for long hours of listening, the ears sometimes hurt, especially this headphone is not for guys with big ears.
2. The sound is not loud enough when played in cellphones, even not when connected to a computer.
3. Its must be borne in mind that this headphone is meant for gaming and chat. In this perspective its quite good. The music output is not that rich.
4. At extreme volume the deep bass (by applying proper settings in equalizer) cracks. It cant support that much
5. Lastly music lovers don’t go for it unless there is an urgent requirement for mic. Many better headphones are available at flipkart itself for the same price…

just now i recieved my phlipsshm7410 headphone and i couldn't resist myself from writing a review.
For past 2 months i was in dilemma to buy either phlips shp2700 or philips shm7410. Recently price of former shooted up and it is always out of stock.Then i analysed both and found it is a blessing in disguise.Here's its explanation
1.This headphone bass is mi...............nd blowing.
2.It has got nice mic.
3.Light in weight.
4.Above all,i ordered it and got 90 bucks as cashback offer.

cons:
1.for big head personalities,u just have to adjust it by expanding its band.
That's all guys,I guess u should go for it if looking for under 1000 price amazing headphones.

And last but not least, 10/10 to flipkart services.
