Philips SHP2500 Headphone

Buying these headphones was a really good choice that I made. Friends all the other comments says that "it has a low volume". This is not at all true. It happens because of the low power supply in computer's 3.5mm port. It worked loud and clear when I connected it to my woofer. Mind that if you connect it to your woofer you don't use full volume. Also these are TV HEADPHONES these work loud and clear with TV also.

The headphones are very comfortable. Ears dont hurt even after long usage times. They come with a ~6 meter cable, a 6.3 mm jack converter. Sound quality is good. They are also sturdy. The only issue is that the maximum volume is unsatisfactory. Thus there are odd low volume movie rips or media files that you cannot listen to using these, especially in noisy surroundings. Although with players like VLC you should be fine.

Comfortable for long use...Looks are a little on the lower side but audio quality & bass is impressive & very much satiable.
Loud music litseners might get unsatisfied with volume but ppl who likes soft rock more wont be complaining. Although, 6m cable gets a little frustrating sometimes.
Heads are large enough to cover the whole ear & the depth of the music is admirable.
Worth every single penny, If you are not looking to spend more than 600-700 bucks for headphones, this is the best deal anyone can get.

A word on the review:
i have heard from many people flipkart writes its own reviews believe me its not one of them, u will get it after reading this.

the people who want to buy these headphones, should only go for it if they are more into gaming and watching movies, it is not at all good for music stuff, these are not much loud the company could have worked on the loudness and the volume controller is a mere joke. the surround thing works pretty well but u should only use these while indoors as in outdoors u can very well listen to the noise.

Comfort:
the comfort of these are just awesome!!! u won't get irritated by these pairs and with a cable of 6 meters it works like a charm as u can sit in ur couch and w/0 any hassle listen to the audio. the bass are good at high frequencies but the lows and the mids are the worst, treble is not too loud so there will be no irritation in ur ears.
In all it can be said u will get what u pay. in the end the whole body is of plastic but never feels too plasty. once u put these pair it will feel bit low but after sometime ur ears will get habitual of this and that will be enough for u.

lastly i would say pay more get more this works as a golden rule in headphones. for punchy bass go for IEM and for peaceful listening go for headphones.

Service:
now for the flipkart- the service was good like every time remarkable packing,
for the courier service that is AFL services they never used to deliver my order on time but this time they turned magically on my doorstep otherwise i had to always pick up from there office.
that is a 2.5 star but since flipkart doesn't give half stars i gave it 2 :)

last april first only i got the product, the packing is not thats much good.. just the put into some plastic bags and thank god it never damaged. no manuals or anything regarding the headphones.. i wish like to see the configuration but its so hard to see in the box . so that i need to go to the philips website. for hearing the music its good. comparatively the basses not that much high or good . when i turned my volume high the i can hear the distortion , it has the positive of comfort ,mid and middle treble so that hearing music and movies is good...... as every one says it has the negative side like low volume because of the 32 ohm thing , if you people want loud voice then see the ohms 20- 32 is the normal range in headset.. and the maximum decibel which is supported .this one will suport 106 db thats qite good for home basic audio mixing purpose.. im using MACKBOOK pro and its works good in that.. but i never recommended for windows platform users.. the volume wont help you out .. its cost ur THD or its called the total harmonic distortion
