Well if it wouldn't have been in discount i will say its not much worthy for the actual price. Apart from that its really good in some aspects like the sound clarity( till 70% vol level only), portability option to join speakers to carry easily( has too much of wiring thouh could have made it more simple). Coming to the option of not connecting with usb power the speakers work only with a philips audio devises i guess. You can hardly hear a sound if its some other mobile or laptop etc.... Its...

I bought this for my Acer laptop as it had very low sound output. At the time of buying, I don't think there was much alternative and I went for this. The product is good and still working fine but the problem with this product is, the wires! It's everywhere. Too many wires to connect and disconnect. They get tangled too sometimes. It's all too much drama for a portable speaker. Try any less wired ones.

This product from Philips is a proof of unique designs that Philips develops every day. Absolutely wonderful product with best pricing too. Very portable and easy to carry in travel. Also works with 3AAA battery option. Great sound for its capacity and diaphram. Excellent reproduction of sound interms of all frequency. Lasts long if used within its limits and ability. Do not over play them as it might cause damage to the speakers. Finally a great product from Philips!!!!
