These controls can be used to change settings and to navigate through your images, videos and sound tracks.This Philips digital photo frame has a built-in rechargeable battery with a capacity of 1500 mAh, which charges when the digital photo frame is connected to the docking station. So you can hand out your digital frame for people to see up-close for up to 2 hours.
The docking station is powered by an AC power adaptor with a voltage range of 100 - 240 V. The system consumes 4.5 watts of power. This Docking station can also be used a stand for the digital frame.
Connectivity and Features
With the Philips digital picture frame, image file formats of JPEG and Progressive JPEG can be stored and viewed. You can view videos with M-JPEG, MPEG-1 and MPEG-4 file formats and listen to MP3 audio files.The Philips SPH8208 is compatible with memory cards like SD, SDHC, MC and xD cards. You can also use MS, MS Pro, MS Duo and MS Pro Duo memory sticks and plug-and-play your favorite images, videos and audio tracks.
The USB 2.0 Host port lets you connect compatible external storage devices and watch images on the screen. You can use the USB 2.0 Slave port to use the Philips SPH8208 as a storage device, and view images from it on a TV or other display devices. Philips SPH8208's Bluetooth connection can also be used to view images from a mobile phone.
You can view images in Full screen browse mode, Thumbnail browse or Slideshow mode. In Slideshow mode, you can change transition effects between images or watch them in a collage. You can also zoom in and out of images while in slideshow mode, depending on what you want to watch. Images can also be rotated by changing the settings accordingly.
