This book entitled "Plant Tissue Culture" is a standard book and embodies a fairly comprehensive treatment of the fundamental facts and aspects of Tissue Culture" The main intention of bringing out this book, particularly in the form of short notes is to consolidate all the aspects prescribed in the syllabus, in a precise and brief manner. No doubt that there are a number of books available in the market giving the details of each and every concpet of Tissue Culture, but individual chapters or a few of them, in different books, leaving no single book containing all the chapters.
About Author :
S.K. Singh did his M.Sc. (Ag.) Plant Breeding and Genetics from C.S., Azad University of Agricultural and Technology, Kanpur, in First Deivision with eighty percent makr. The title of M.Sc. (Ag.) thesi was "Studies on Combining Ability and Economic Heterosis for some Quantitative Traits in Wheat" under the guidance of Dr. Z. Ahmadd (Professor Wheat Breeder, Zonal Co-ordinator/Wheat NEPZ) during the period of 1999 to 2001. Smt. Seema Srivastava done her M.Sc. Botany in 1993 from deen Dayal Upadhyay, University of Gorakhpur (U.P.). She obtained her B.Ed. degree from same university in 1996. Her carrier is throughout Ist class. She is presently teachingi n U.N.P.G. College, Padrauna, (U.P.).
