Playing God...in Jeans

Based present day, Patrick Whitehead, mild mannered, now in his middle thirties from Sheffield, is a scientist working in human genetics. He eventually ends up working at a research centre in Norfolk, and lives in a bed"sit nearby. Regrettably everything at work is not rosy, is constantly chastised not only about his work but his dress sense, and when he meets the girl of his dreams, he knows his environment has to change. Purposely changing his lifestyle, Patricks new world is suddenly shattered. His grief is great, and unfortunately his occupation allows him to seek revenge. He maintains companionship with a local tramp for company, not much older than him, and seems as wise, however doesnt know his true vocation. Seemingly on an intellectual level, but maintaining a more sober outlook to life, than the tramp, Patrick decides to take the law into his own hands, but will it do him any good? Especially, when finds out the true employment of his closest friends.
