Poems In A Glass House

My book consists of personal experiences that are related to me and family. This book can be a daily tool for the brokenhearted. It also shows some of today's issues written in poetic form to enlighten the minds that are relaxed with ills of the world. "Rape": This poem is about a mother who is involved with a pedophile, and he has molested her daughter. The mother has chosen to stay with this man. The daughter has to forgive the mother and her molester in order to move on with her life. "Mr. President": The poem is about the state of the world and some of the issues that the President should handle. "Lost": This poem is about a young woman who had been repeating the same cycle as her parents, but broke the cycle when she found the love of God. "Speechless": The poem is about seeing the ills of the world with a "wool-lite" set of eyes. "The Invisible Race": This poem is about African Americans who are still enslaved by Jim Crow Laws.
