Selina M. Scott was born in New Jersey and grew up in the projects in the town of Long Branch. Since childhood she has kept a journal and has always been fond of poetry, and one of her dreams has always been to write a book full of it. You'll find in this book experiences of different parts of her life. Raised by a single mother in the "rougher" part of town, Selina has been fortunate enough to overcome the stereotype by living out this dream. You will find poems very personal and dear to her heart. This is her first published book and her first time sharing her poetry with the world. Selina has an eleven-year-old son, has been married for three years and currently lives in Ohio.
