Portal 2

This is my first purchase here and I am very impressed. Here's the breakdown review.

Flipkart has a good search system to easily find the product we are looking for.Categories are neatly arranged and we can drill through and eliminate things that we don't want. Flipkart gets 10/10 for their website. Now onto the Portal 2

Purchase: Everything went smooth and I recieved a message within a minute of checking out, informing my purchase. Nice!

Delivery time and packing: I recieved the item in 3 days as promised and I have to say I am surprised by the speed and efficiency. The item was packed in bubblewrap and then in outer flipkart logo box. 10/10

Item: The game installed perfectly and Steam activation was successful. The game ofcourse is great. 10/10

I hope that as this company grows bigger, they keep their standards high and give the same customer satisfaction as we are having now. Good luck and thank you Flipkart :)

Extremely creative! Portal 2 is a fitting successor to the legendary portal. I had bought the orange box for TF2. But before i knew it I was hooked on to a game I'd never heard of before! Portal! And portal 2 released independently, (Quite frankly TF 3 could be an add on to Portal this time. XD :P) is even better. Revolutionary titles. Games like these, which go out of the tried and tested and introduce something never before seen don't come too often. And at this amazing price (It's 50 dollars in the USA) I say this game is a must buy!

The funniest game created , ever . The one they'll talk about for decades to come.

The game begins as you wake up from a looong sleep, only to hear danger alarms sounding everywhere. A friendly an goofy robot enters the room ... to control the panic fit you were about to have... and give you a bit of the background. The funny intro/tutorial also includes 'staring at art' and 'relaxing to classical music' ;)

The game in a nutshell looks like a First-Person Shooter, except there is practically no one to shoot at , and you have just a pair of guns throughout the game. The guns , serve a single purpose ... to create Orange and Blue portals - you know, enter Orange door - come out of the Blue ones . So for pretty much the rest of the game, you are trying to help a couple of Robots test out their puzzle rooms. The job is made even more fun , thanks to the crazy chatter by the Robots(sic) .

So, if you hate being stuck in closed spaces - this is the game for you , or maybe not ;) If you love logical challenges and spatial puzzles , this is the game for you. If you just want a game thats so funny it'll start a laughter that only ever ends with your untimely death , this could very well be the game for you.

My pick of the "Game of the Year" 2011 . Recommended for all ages - human or robot , gamer or non- . It will activate on Steam (being a Valve product) , and so you don't really need the physical CD. And there's an endless number of Co-op ( friendly multiplayer )maps available to play for (hopefully) years to come.

One last thing - this game has the most beautiful ending (for the Single Player Campaign ) that I have Ever seen in 15 odd years of gaming ... a true meeting of cinematic arts and 3D Gaming. Hell, the ending itself is worth the price. Play it - I order you :D

The first portal came with the orange box, an amazing package itself. The only drawback with the first portal was too short.

Along came Portal 2, Portal 2 holds up as a stand alone game perfectly, it has an amazingly engaging story, tremendous voice acting, top of the line game-play mechanics and a length of over 10 hours which make this one of the best games to come out this year.

I will not talk to much about the stunning game-play(please refer to reviews from Gamespot and IGN)but what Valve has given us is an amazing continuation of the Half-Life universe and the best puzzle game till date.

The multi-player component relies on teamwork and is best enjoyed if you have a good buddies online to play with.
The latest add-on valve has added is the ability to create user levels, this gives tremendous opportunity to experts as well as novice level designers as the tool is extremely simple to use with advance features if required as well.

A package worthy of the quality of valve and surprise Valve actually did not delay in releasing this one:-)

I purchased this product about 1 year back. There is nothing wrong with flipkart, but it is steamworks that ruined my mood. This was my first experience with steamworks. Installation tokk sometime for the steam setup and all, but finally I got through. But after installation steam started downloading latest patch for the game. With a horrible internet at place, i waited and waited and waited to get this download completed. but slowly I undrstood that it is not going to happen in near future. Later i cam to know that the patch is > 1gb in size. I am not a hard core gamer. I will think 20 times before spending more than 500rs for game. I bough this only because of its reviews. I am so disappointed that I am not able to play this game even after purchasing a dvd by giving such a good amount. In fact I have not played this game till date, though the dvd is there in my shelf.
