PowerColor AMD/ATI Radeon HD5570 1 GB DDR3 Graphics Card

Yes HD 5570 HD5670 HD6570 HD6670 all of them uses the same gpu just different clock speeds! I am having a good time with this gfx card, NFS The Run runs quite smoothly 2 1440X900 resolu. and medium settings, Dirt3 runs like charm, 1400x900, all settings pumped up to ULTRA since its a dx11 gfx card results are awesome! All you need to do is Download the latest amd catalyst control center and use the OverDrive tool to overclock this Gpu to desired clock speeds! i have taken it upto 750mhz hence now theres is no difference between HD5670 and this one! 3400 bucks, its the best! Dont waste 1k more on HD5670 or HD6670! HD6000 series is nothing but rebadged 5000 series!

On latest version of Linux.. Open Suse 12.1 and Kubuntu 12.04 LTS installing card messes up screen and only colored stripes seen.. Booting into Recovery mode and installing Fglrx properitery driver solves the problem.. but causes FResolutuin and Frequency ut of range.. keep a saved "xorg.conf" file ready to replac old one or create new one to override auto detected wrong settings.. using command line or file manager using a ROOT account. copy above in a text editor like kwrite or emacs and save it as "xorg.conf" in /etc/X11 direcotry

it is one of d best graphics card
running Assassins Creed till Revelations on maximum graphics setting and giving a frame rate of about 30-40
Also dirt 3 on max. gives me about 30.
mafia 2 on maximum 30 fps
Kane & lynch on max giving abt 50 fps
& GTA IV not running on max due to my slow processor
but it runs nice on high-very high :D

first let me confess that i am not so much into the computer hardware world so can't compare the technicalities of different cards...just wanted to share personal experiences.

i have an old pc(5yr) and was trying to find a better replacement for my nvidia 8400gs because games like CRYSIS, ASSASSASINS CREED,MAFIA-2 were running irritatingly slow....to be honest i have researched a lot before settling for this card..and i can see the difference now...

reason to choose this card...

1. wanted casual gaming,and it's a mid-low range GAMING card(compairing crysis performance with my old nvidia 8400gs,this card is probably 150 times faster!!!)

2. didn't want to spend more on a new PSU (mine is 250w. this card gives surprising performance with so little power..though AMD recommends 400w psu but that's because they wanted to be on safer side)

3.being a home pc didn't want a NOISY card. (absolutely noice less card)

4.wanted a BUDGET card.(similar nVidia cards are bit costly and power hungry)

5.no additional COOLER FAN needed..(comes with its own fan)
