Summary of the Book

The book starts off with the perfect evening with a girl awaiting her college reunion. This is when she meets him. They see each other and she is smitten. She accepts the glass of wine that he offers her. However, when she comes to her senses, her face is full of blood. She was chained, her left hand broken, and her body was in terrible pain. Yet another mutilated body is found in the town, and another girl has gone missing. It is something that hasn’t happened before, and there are rumors and superstitions that are brought up. Despite all of this, Inspector Khan has only two suspect: the owner of the vineyard and his son, Chris. While Inspector Khan is investigating, he needs to face the ghosts of his own past. Can he do it?
