Read before ordering this kettle
I bought this kettle after reading its reviews but i am really regretting it now
1. This kettle is not as cute as it looks in the above picture...it looks fine, just fine
2. Yes, it boils water in a minute or two - one good thing
3. If you allow the kettle to auto shut off after boiling, you wont dare to touch it. It is sooo hot that you can cook an omlette on top of it. Also you need a wash cloth to touch its sides
4. The lid doesnot cover the mouth of this kettle, so if you are concerened about dirt and germs sitting on the mesh in the mouth then you should find a way to cover the kettle while leaving hot water in it.
I prefer the prestige kettle that my sis is using, rather than preethi electric kettle

Smart looking Kettle
The Preethi RK-705 is a pretty decent kettle. It looks very smart both from outside as well as inside (the wires are concealed). I have purchased it from flipkart and have been using it for nearly a month now.
The only issue I have with it is the liquid does not pour out smoothly - especially when the water level is low - you need to almost tilt it upside down!
But I think that is the price you pay for that lovely shape! But otherwise it is an excellent product. I would have given it a 5 but for this factor!

Superb product worth the money ....
PLUS points
-Stylish look .
-stainless steel body .
-Heats up water quickly in less than 5 min .
-Actually only the base is corded .. u can lift the kettle from the base and take it to the dining room.
-Also the water remains hot almost for an hour after the kettle is switched off .
only one negative point the water capacity of the kettle is only 1 litre ..
If u have a smart kitchen then this will definitely add to the look :)...

The kettle is the best one i have ever use .....
Not just in terms of price (by the way, its the best in its range)but the overall look as well !!
It is even better than its cool looks in the picture !!
As far as the working is concerned it works great boils 1 ltr. within seconds !!
