About Nutan Pandit
Child Birth Therapist and author Nutan Pandit is based in New Delhi, where she conducts childbirth classes for expectant couples. She has attended workshops with the National Childbirth Trust in London.
She has authored Smart Parenting: A Guide For Parents and Questions and Answers on Pregnancy.
A Sociology graduate from Mumbai University, she also holds a Diploma in Journalism. She freelanced for various magazines for a few years. She had a faith altering experience, when breathing practices enabled her to have an easy childbirth. Subsequently, she began taking natural childbirth classes in 1978. She visited Dr Michel Odent's unit at Pithiviers, France, renowned for their unconventional methods for conducting childbirth. She has also taken classes at Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, and at various nursing homes.
