Preservation Of Electronic Information

Electronic media, though undoubtedly the most preferred form of collecting information today, presents numerous challenges which hardly show any signs of relenting. Outdated word processor files, old database formats and technology which renders itself redundant after every 18 months, has meant that information which is stored digitally is being lost rapidly due to a confluence' of the above mentioned factors.
