Prestige PCMFS Sandwich Maker

Its a great product with a reasonable price tag. Purchased the product from flipkart 3 months back. Its working great till now. The product was delivered within 2 days of placing the order. And not to forget, amazing packing and delivery from flipkart. I think the flipkart self delivery was a great and fantastic idea. About the product, the sandwiches come out great. Only issues are that be careful that during operational use, the silver plating on the top surface gets very hot. It can cause some burns if not handled with care. A must to "keep children away from the sandwich maker". If cheese or butter leaks out from the back then it gets collected in a aft of the sandwich maker where the top plate is hinged to the bottom plate. Cleaning becomes really really tough in this place. That is another drawback of this product. And don't forget to get a dog legged brush of 1" or 2" size so that you can easily apply butter on the plates before placing your bread on the hot plates..happy sandwiches!!

If you wish to make crunchy delicious sandwiches in no time then go for it.This product is worth buying.I felt better in this way rather than the manual:
1.Put slices in both the platforms with fillings in it.
2.Close the lid.(Dont forget to lock it)
3.Turn on the switch.(Red light turns on)
4.Wait till the green light goes on.
5.Turn off the switch and open the lid by its handle.(Don't touch the metallic part,it becomes hot)
6.Take out the food,cut it diagonally and serve.

NB:Better not to use in inverter because it needs 800 wattage.

The product is not up-to the mark as the sandwiches are squeezed between the 2 plates leading to a very thin final form, also a short power cable together with poor insulation on the outside may lead to burning of one's fingers if not handled properly. Grilling of toasts does not make them more crispier as expected and also lack of temperature control function is a major let down!
COD in flipkart is worse as the courier people make lame excuses for not delivering product owing to added responsibility of cash collection, so better be prepared to pay online for orders or wait for harassment at the hands of courier delivery boys!

I am very happy to buy this Prestige PCMFS Sandwich maker as it serves both toasting & Grill functions ...ofcourse the triangular plate gives the feel of sandwich more & more...as well as with the grill shaped plate too..!! Its light weight and easy to carry...nice body cover with stainless steel top! It prepares the sandwich within 3 mins...thats really awesome...!! Try It for your selves majority will not regret for buying this product!

Cons:
>>>Hate to see little wire connected with maker.
>>>No Temp Control and the heating sometime takes ages.
>>>The Silver Sheen gets heated but, that's hardly matter.
