Prestige PIC 6.0 Induction Cook Top

One has to be careful while using this ccok top. There should be no spillage while using this cook top if there is any it may damage the cook top is what the manufacturer has told me via e-mail. I would like to tell all who wish to buy this product to enquire about this and then decide whether to purchase or not. I have already purchased this item.

Also one cannot leave the cook top unattended while cooking.

I would be happy if anybody enlighten me more on this product after their experience on using it. I have given a rating of two for this product since I have got to experience it by using for some more time.

There should not be any problem on a spill over of food on pan because the cook top does not respond to anything non-steel. One should make sure that the steel spoons and similar things are not left on the cook top while the cooking is in progress. That may heat the spoon or whatever. If my view is incorrect the manufacturer may correct the same through their own post. I am not a user but the view is logical.

I bought the product from flipkart, after going through various reviews from various sites and comparing the prices in different online shopping sites and in retail shops. I got it within 3 days... Nice shock-proof packing.

If you want to buy any induction cook top, consider buying one with a feather touch control panel. If so water/moisture will not enter inside through the sides of the rubber press-buttons/keypad. More over, in the long run, the rubber press button get damaged.(here you can compare it as a smartphone with touchscreen and an old type mob phone with keypad).
Take care of the glass panel as the warranty doesn't covers it for any breakage. Its little bit costly to replace the glass panel. So do not try to clean the glass panel with water when the panel is hot, ie; immediately after cooking.

This product is not made for Indian environment. It has got a built in chip that would stop the cooker if environment heat is more.

This means that you cannot fry, and above all you cannot make more than 2 chappatis at a given time.

This induction cooker has a mood of its own while it is cooking.

This was my second induction cooker after my first one (pigeon) started showing signs of wear.

Please be careful while buying. No doubt it has got killer looks, but then looks wont cook.

Although I have bought this item from local market because it was not available at flipkart I am writing my experience. this is among the best IC available in the market. I have been using this product since more 6 months without a single problem. at first usage there was some problem due to lack of knowledge, I have even claimed it to be a useless product. Since then I use this product roughly, spiling on the surface has nothing to do with the life of the product. the only thing which has to be kept in mind is that wipe the surface of utensil and the cooker both before cooking not because it will damage the cooker but because the bottom of the utensil will heat up and if there is any water present on the cooker surfcae it will boil up and hot bubbles may burst on your hands and injury may take place. The best feature of this product is "Pause" button which is not present in any of its rivals. For general maintenance clean the surface with cloth and mild detergent and most important clean the bottom fan defenitely otherwise it may clog and detoriate the cooling effect which is normal. There are many good similar product in the market but if anyone is looking for this particular one I would say don't wait and but it blindly because I am more than satisfied with product.
