Prestige PKPW 1.7 Electric Kettle

Got this product from Flipkart, good corldless, easy to use, and get hot within 3 - 5 minutes. Capacity 1.7 is too good for domestic use. You can boil milk, water and do multiple task to make tea, but avoid putting tea leaves, just make simple and use tea bags for best and long life of the product.

Hi I bought this for my fiancee who stays in a PG and thus would not have access to hot water when there is a need. It turned out to be a very good investment for the money that I paid. Delivery like always was on time by Flipkart two days later itself.

Its very good for the water boiling pretty fast. The only issue that I could see is that the design has its heating rods outside and thus over the time using it in the hard water may screw up the rods by forming a thin layer of salts. So for places like Chennai n some places in Karnataka it may not be right choice. You must have a kettle from these which has hidden rods. That is gonna be a bit expensive I guess.

Buy this if you are using it for the heating of water only.

I purchased this Kettle a long time ago since I always prefer the Prestige brand, but this particular model is cheaply made with cheap brittle plastic. It came to me cracked right from top to bottom. Flipkart was prompt in replacing the damaged good, but there are still some issues with the quality. Water has started leaking from where the screws are tightened. I tried repairing it with M-seal but still negligible amount of water leaks. Therefore buy Prestige Electric Kettle but avoid this particular model.

in this product working is very fast but no auto cut feature while it it mention on this box
that means it need you surveillance while you are boiling milk or etc otherwise it boiled and come outside.
and if you want this for one person i advice you to buy 1 liter capacity kettle.

This is a really great buy. I have been using it for about a month and haven't had any problems yet. The look is sleek and for a capacity of 1.7L it comes at a really affordable price. The current is cut off once the water boils and the levels are marked very clearly for the user's convenience. It is lightweight and easy to clean.
