Summary of the Book
Tommy and Tuppence visit an elderly aunt at Sunny Ridge. The woman is paranoid, suspicious of her doctors. Soon, they hear an inmate mention a poisoned mushroom stew, and another mentions something hidden behind a fireplace. Three weeks later, the aunt passes away and leaves a painting to Tommy, originally owned by another woman in the establishment. Tuppence tries to return the painting, but following its trail leads them to a spine-tingling mystery that involves murder.
About Agatha Christie
