Description

Not for a single reading

If you've ever felt there were gaps in the reasoning behind calculus, if you felt something was fishy about the proofs in school, finish this book, I don't use the word read because one doesn't simply read this book. Principles of Mathematical Analysis by Walter Rudin

This book dealt the foundation of mathematics and explained the basic concepts lucidly. This is a must read book for every one having an interest in mathematics. If someone understand all the concept in this book then surely he will develop great interest in learning of mathematics.
This is one of the best books available on the the topic.

Good book for Real Analysis

It's not a particularly easy read, as is widely known, but with some patience and work, it's very useful and rewarding. Starts basic and reaches advanced topics; better to have some experience with a proof-based course before-hand.

The Good thing about this book is that there is a detailed solution manual of the exercises in this book available on the internet. So you can tackle the exercises with assurance. The book is not written in the most simplest language there is a great deal of intuition required from the reader but hey that is mathematics. Enjoy

Best book if you are ready to invest some time in it. If you are from non mathematics background then refer to Harvey Mudd college's "Analysis Yawp!" (video quality is bad but lectures are awesome). Helps you gain confidence to read and understand the book.
