The Present book, on Principles and Practice of Soil Science has been prepared (written) keeping view of the requirements and direction of modern teaching and research in soil-genesis disciplines. An attempts has been made to evolve a new text with originality in style and presentation and also include some topics of current importance. I think this will be an individual and additional feature above all the existing texts.
About Author :
Dr. Naren Kumar Dutta is presentaly senior lecturer in the Department of Zoology, Cotton College, Gauwahati. He obtained B.Sc. Degree in 1975 from the Dibrugarh University, Assam. He is Gold Medalist in M.Sc. (Zoology) from Gauwahati University. In 1980, he was awarded Japanese Governmnet Scholarship from the Ministry of Education and Social Welfare Department, Government of India for learning of Japanese language from Osaka University and research at Tokyo University, Japan. He hasd completed his Ph.D. Degree in 1988. Dr. Dutta has published several articles in the natioanl and internatioanl journals of repute. He has a long teaching experience of 22 years to teach the Postgraduate students of Zoology.
