The Prodigal Daughter

Over the years, one statement has held true to the author's heart: Write what you know about. He knows daughters, and he knows of God's love, compassion and forgiveness. Based on the Bible's story of the prodigal son, this modern version brings that parable to life. Jessica, offspring of addicted parents and born into poverty, finds herself living with a well-to-do family and an older sister. Struggling to adjust, she runs away, falling into the world of drugs and abuse. Along the way, through many trials and tribulations, she strengthens her relationship with the Lord. Jessica's journey ultimately leads her to ask, "Daddy, can I come home?"
