Protecta Small Surprise Carry Case for 10.2 inch Laptop

I have a 10.2" netbook. Buying a bag for it proved confusing for me at first, as I could not decide among three products -
a)Protecta Cocoon Mini
b)Belkin Knit Sleeve
c)Protecta Small Surprise (this bag)

Finally I decided to go along with this one. I received the bag today and I am completely satisfied with the product.
Pros:
1.Very good padding(approx.2cm thick) inside to protect the netbook from moderate shocks
2.Neat and tidy design and the outer colors (green and black) are not bright, which is good as I like subdued colors for my bags.
3.It has 2 separate pockets for keeping mouse and pendrives. You can keep the charger cord and adapter also inside the pocket(since adapter is small for a netbook). Even a portable Hard Disk can be easily put into those pockets.
4. Good build quality overall and good zippers also.
Cons:
Lining of inner pockets are made of thin material. A thicker material should have been desirable.

Verdict: A very good bag for this price (Rs.401) and prompt delivery and excellent packaging by the Flipkart people, as usual. :-)

Bought this so I can carry my EeePC 10.2" netbook with relatively less fuss.

What's great:

* Padding: Counter to someone's comment about the side padding being 2cm thick, mine seems to be slightly less than 1cm in depth. Maybe the earlier reviewer meant 2cm wide or the the padding design has changed since then. Nevertheless, I'm happy with the side padding. The top and bottom padding are also quite thick (seems like the same thickness as the sides).

* Looks: I've bought the green and black model. The material is not shiny and gives it a good look. The build quality is good too.

* Front pocket: The front pocket is generous enough to stow in your charger and a fairly large mouse.

* Price: seems like good value for money compared to others in the market.

* Water repellent nylon material: I just like this feature because now I can be even more careless about where I place it :-)

Hmm...:

* The internal size is fairly roomy for an Eee PC. That said, the dimensions were available a-priory, so I'm not complaining, but since this is for laptops up to 10.2", maybe they could have made it a tad smaller. BTW there is a velcro strap inside to keep your laptop from moving around.

Could be better:

* The main zip quality could have been better. The zip is not very smooth to open and close but perhaps that would get better with usage. The main problem is with using nylon strips as zipper handles. A regular metal handle or plastic/rubber handle would be more durable in my opinion. The outer compartment's zip is super!

I would have given it a 4.5, but since I can't I'll rather give it a 5 than a 4.

I ordered this after reading the reviews. I was in doubt about the size. I wanted it for ASUS 11.6". The laptop was few mm larger than the internal size given. 30.3 cm was may laptop length and internal dimension given was 29.2 cm.

Delivery as usual was very fast. The laptop also just fitted in as it is very thin 20 mm at thickets point.

Bag is good value for money. But if one wants a bag with rich looks, it is not for them. Functionally it is good with charger (small size) and a hard disk can be accommodated in front pouch.

This smart, little thing made a perfect fit for my dad's mini laptop with the exception of some really tight, rough zip lines. It also seemed to not fit the Ac adapter/external mouse comfortably, but I guess I overlooked the size and bought a size lesser than what's actually required. Otherwise, it's a neat purchase and good start for my Flipkart account; this one is my maiden purchase.

A perfect value for money product.Best Netbook bag for my Asus EEE 1015cx ,"10.2 inch".I got the product within 4 days.Quality wise the bag is better than I expected,and the price was resonable.Wasting >1000 bucks to buy a netbook bag is just useless.So I suggest to go with "Protecta Small Surprise bag for 10.2 Inch Laptop".
