Book: Quality Of Life Of Urban Working Women Quality of Life of Urban Working Women uncovers the linkages and supplementary support mechanisms between the work roles of women in public and private spheres. It studies the relationship between the home and office lives of women working in the metro city of Delhi. In a departure from the unconventional role conflict theory, it applies the Quality of Life approach to the study of their work roles. This approach entails a wholistic view of their lives on the basis of certain objective and subjective indicators. This approach is essential for an indepth understanding of the intricacies invovled in their day to day lives. The quality of the life paproach has been illustrated through individual case studies.
