Quantitative Analysis

The text is primarily meant for postgratuate course in chemistry (for a paper on analytical chemistry). Also, it is a useful reference text for undergraduate and honours courses in chemistry. Quantitative Analysis is a well established text in the field of analytical chemistry. The present text covers the traditional topics of titrimetric and gravimetric analysis; and then provides elementary coverage of instrumental topics such as potentiometry, electrochemistry, spectrophotometry, emission spectro-scopy and chromatography.In the text, for each concept, an elementary explanation is followed by actual mathematical formulation, in order to establish a physical picture before the reader. The text thus provides directions for numerous other laboratory experiments.
