Twanny has always had difficulty dealing with her childhood. When she married Ron, a wealthy and kindhearted man, she had hope that her life was improving for the better and she could finally put her past behind her and actually live a joyful life. When Ron passed away, her picture-perfect life came crushing down, so she moved to their summer home in the Pocono Mountains to hide from the world. Years pass by and she finds out that she possesses great powers that she must now develop in order to save her life and her sister's life. However, in order to complete the task at hand she must confront her childhood, which has haunted and controlled her life.
