this Book is Good for the Beginners. not Completed Recomended for the QTP Automation. Getting the examples in User Guide and Published as Book. Basics of QTP only Defined in the Book. Better to Read the User Guide for the Getting Expertise in QTP.

as if the Auther Worked on QTP Book is not Clearly defining the REal Time Usage to the New Generations who are willing to Buy the Book.
as i am using QTP fro V 8.2 i have Gone through the PDF of Few Pages.
Good in the MArket...... But not Recomen...

Well.. If you have basic knowledge of VBscript this book is the best guide for you, even if you are at beginner level.. for a guy like me, who is from non IT background, this book helped a lot...

The book as few people have pointed out is not for beginners. When you buy this book it is expected you know the basics of QTP at the very least. This book can take someone who is at an intermediate level to being close to expert level. It may not be the best book but it does give you insight on a lot of QTP functionalities that you wouldn't find that easily on the net. People seem to be cribbing about it being 520 bucks but I think its worth the cost. I'm not much of a book reader so I cant ...

I don't know how come this book got the best automation book. All the code examples in the book are incomplete. QTP at the end is about coding. The book explains more about the software using the screenshots. The user cannot write a complete working example code after reading this book. Because the book is filled with incomplete code. And the number of coding examples are next to NIL. Utter waste of my money. Don't buy the book. You will regret later. The price is astronomical when compared t...

The best part of this book is that Mr. Lalwani has explained everything with screen shots, which makes the concepts easy to understand and simultaneously you can go for hands on while reading the book.

It's absolutely not for beginners. It is one of best book for programming for QTP. It don't explain any concept for automation or QTP tool. It's purely about programs in QTP expert view. The programming is not based on default application also

Tarun Lalwani is a best writer...No Doubt.. about his commitment towards the testing fraternity.. :) I have ordered both of his books..a) QTP unplugged 2nd edition ( i have the first edition also ) and b) i thought i knew QTP..

Hi guys i just purchased the book and to my utmost disappointment the book is not as wht i expected it to be . each chapter is of 4-10 pages without much detail, this book can cater to an expert probably but instead u can purchase some other not worth 520 honestly.!! Infact book claims to explain in detail which is not true.. stay away... from this.. :(
