Rabda: My Sai… My Sigh is a book on faith, hope, surrender and the Sai Baba of Shirdi, written by Ruzbeh N. Bharucha.

    Summary of the Book

This book will take you back in time, to when Sai lived in his physical body. He enters the hospital room where Rabda is lying with the assorted tubes and other equipment, after he had attempted suicide. Sai awakens the spirit of Rabda and the two have a conversation about life, death, and everything in between. The book also reveals the life and philosophy of Sai Baba, more so in his own words. Questions on spirituality and Shirdi Sai are also answered with rare insights.

    Brilliant

A spiritual book which has fact peppered with fiction. Written in an engaging style, it doesnt force religion or spirituality on the reader. Instead, it makes a discourse about Sai baba's life sound very interesting in a conversation between a musician Rabda and his master, Sai baba of Shirdi.

    Rabda : My sai...My sigh

The book opens with Caiz a sufi rockstar who is in coma due to overdose of sleeping pills mixed with Vodka. His friend, his philosopher ,guide,Sai baba takes Caiz’s ether self to His cave and hence the spiritual journey of Caiz begins.

Its insightful to see, a steady spiritual commentary and flow of dialogues between Caiz and his Beloved “Baba Sai.” The timeline flows seamlessly between the ether present and Sai Baba’s life. In spite of the lucid language, the writer gets across the message...

an appropriate book at right time

Rabda came to em on a day I needed a lot of reasons to have faith in God. Weall might agree to disagree with God on the death of innocents but to think of them as angels walking back to their home was re assuring.

Rabda is Sai's journey on Earth while he was physically alive and more so after that - a guiding spirit for all his devotees and to provide what one seeks, some times the hard way. The way writer explains about why we go through difficult times and how keeping faith can help us. f...

A good read if you're into spiritual reading

The book is about a patient Rabda who is very very close to death gets to interact with Baba Sai. Baba Sai looking at this devotee of his from a previous lifetime begins to talk about his life, from the time he got to Shirdi, how he treated his devotees, what he thinks of life, and more. This interaction more or less turns out to be a discourse of sorts and there is definitely a lot of philosophy, spirituality and some common sense in it.

For me, the read was mostly material that I think I...

    Terrific purchase

The book was in a good condition despite having purchased it during a sale. While the book content is difficult to absorb at first, it is very difficult to not be affected. It's a good read.
