Rage - First of a New Post-Apocalyptic Franchise
From the makers of the hit series like Skyrim and Fallout comes a whole new survival franchise about post apocalyptic earth 'Rage'. The story is based on a real scientific calculated probable doomsday scenario of an approaching asteroid '99942 Apophis' impact which in reality missed earth in 2004 and will flypast very near in 2029. As per the game Storyline it was armageddon on 2029.
You are Nicholas Raine who has just woken up from stasis inside an underground shelter called an Ark after 106 years in 2135. You have no memory as to who you are or ur objective. You have to survive the post apocalyptic earth where you are hunted by the Authority a faction of ark survivors loyal to the General. The lands are ravaged by bandits and Mutants. You will have to survive them too. You will know the truth and ur purpose as you explore the world and progress in the game.
Since this game is the first of the series it has opened whole new imaginative and innovative franchise that can possibly have its own followers in the coming years.
The game is a First Person shooter but the driving part will all be in Third person. You have some cool options to cutomize you inventory. The best part is the enemy AI which is quite advanced.
Again a very good storyline which has set the stage for an excellent series, backed by effective and refreshing gameplay options makes this game a definite Try. Plus its damn cheap which u will agree.
Please remember this game will be activated by Steam online. So you have to bear the hassle but it will worth it if you choose to.

Addictive Game, Serious Missions and Powerful weaponry!!!
First of all note to all AMD users like my iMac graphics card the game is not going to work till you download 12.1a preview driver for AMD. The computer needs to be really powerful to run this game .... My iMac 21.5" running windows7 with 512mb ram does a decent job to this game.
Story and missions are perfect for keeping you glued on playing for hours.. Vehicles and upgrades are awesome and all those who love shooting enemies you have some decent weaponry and upgrades to unlock. Keep on creating some new ammunition and you are ready for extreme action. I rate this game 10/10
