This is the best gaming mouse ever built. Do not even think about getting anything else. I have very large hands and I was confused if this mouse will bw comfortable to hold or not, but after using it, it feel like it is custom-made for your hands. The grip is good and the buttons are placed right where they should be. Clicks have a good tactile feel and the build quality is superb, what u'd expect from Razor. And sensitivity adjustment on the fly is another feature to go for.
To sum up, this is the best gaming mouse ever built and is a must have. And if you are just getting started, look no further, this one is for you. BUT it works best with Razor mouse mats so dont forget to order that too.
And Flipkart.com has the lowest prices around and the shipping is fast too.
cheers
I bought this mouse based on reviews published on flipkart and for once I ought to have made the right decision! After using it for just over a day I've been completely bowled over by its looks & the ergonomic right-handed design. The pulsating LED light illuminating the Razer logo adds the cherry on top of a hugely popular death adder.
Technically, though it does not match up with the likes of the Razer Imba or the Razer Mamba it packs quite a big punch with its 3.5G infrared sensor and a max. sensitivity of 3500dpi.Besides, it's also comparatively easy on the pocket for the likes of aspiring hardcore gamers like myself.
All-in-all the Death Adder is worth investing on as it easily underscores the likes of the Logitech MX 518,Razer Abyssus & Verbatim Rapier V1 & V2 variants on looks, comfort, ease of use, technical specs & the ergonomic design.
Razer DeathAdder is the perfect entry-level gaming mouse. It is the quintessential gaming mouse. You can graduate from a regular mouse guy to gamer effortlessly. let me explain why:
- Number of buttons is 5. (7 or 8 buttons MIGHT be difficult to get adjusted to immediately)
- Ergonomic, fits average to large sized hands
- User-friendly software
- Sturdy, tough (In case of old habits of furious clicking/bashing with regular mouse)
Pros:
- High DPI range of upto 3500 DPI
- Fast polling response
- Nice fit in our hands, reduces fatigue and increases gameplay
- good rubberized grip
- Thumb buttons are situated in ideal positions- avoids accidental clicking
Cons:
- Most of the times, we will not use max DPI
- Sweaty hands might cause you to lose grip
Conclusion: DeathAdder is an uncomplicated, no bulls*it, no frills gaming mouse. It doesn't take u days to get used to it. It will still be your favorite even after u become an experienced gamer.
Pick, Play, Win. DA style.
Tip:
- Use a 'control' type gaming mousepad to use the full range of DPI of the DeathAdder. Example : Razer Goliathus - Control edition (standard or alpha size)
I have been using this awesome mouse for around 5 months now. I play DotA and fps games like Counter-Strike and Call of Duty. It is better than most mice I have used.
Pros :
1)Great ergonomic design.
2)The 2 extra buttons are placed well and are easy to reach and use.
3)The driver is extremely user-friendly.
4)Looks brilliant (especially in the dark).
5)The sensitivity and DPI on this mouse is brilliant. Certainly enhances your gameplay.
6)Worth the price.
7)The mouse will not get affected if you click very fast and hard like it would if you were using a cheap mouse. (My average APM is around 120-140 and no problems till date).
Cons :
1)The light is not constant like on the Razer Abyssus. It keeps blinking. The color of the light also cannot be changed. But this does not affect gameplay in any way.
2)Not very durable. Drop it from a height a few times and it will get damaged badly.
Conclusion:
This mouse is PERFECT if you are going to play FPS/RTS games. If you are an MMORPG gamer, I would recommend getting a Razer Naga.

This is a mouse which I bought after a lot of thinking and reading the reviews here on flipkart. I went for this mouse in February on my birthday. 4 months down the line, the left mouse button gets stuck. I start highlighting things instead of clicking them. Searched on the net and the Battlefield community and asked them for help about this mouse, they all had bad reviews regarding it. I read somewhere regarding the mouse that the sensor inside is extremely sensitive and even a strand of hair causes problems. After cleaning the mouse a little, they problems seemed to have disappeared just to appear a few weeks later. This time the left click had become insensitive, another cleaning and it reduced a little but didn't disappear, games were playable, but getting killed because your mouse didn't react was annoying at times! Now just a few days back the left click on the mouse seems to work once in 3 tries! This just seems to be going down hill now. I've decided never to trust over hyped stuff. I'm going for logitech the next time I get a mouse. Please get this mouse only if you're going to get another one in 6-8 months. One of my BF buddies has had 5 mouses in 3 years all from razer :(
Within a few months I started getting left click problems. Today the mouse has become almost unusable. Another thing is the syn...
