  • Description
Karan was a handsome young professional closed-circuit racer and three times National Champion, whose only love and mission was biking. A loner he was, with no friends by his side ? in sharp contrast to his social butterfly-like brother, Sandheep. Their sisters, Karuna and Sandhana, lived a life of their own. All four never mingled. Sandheep was the first to realise this flaw in their family and started to fix their broken relationship. However, they were faced with a sudden challenge, which was as a big blow. Did they overcome it? Did they find their real mission?

    A heart-touching tale!

I loved the book so much. I'm not an avid reader and thus bought the book because of it's small size. I didn't expect that one small book to contain so much of emotions and a huge message. It helped me realise my potential, mistakes, true friends and more. I have started working on my Real Mission. Have you? Do buy your own copy of the book, people! It's totally worth the money and worth your time. Let us support this young first-time author. I'm surprised how she manages school work and publ...

    What a Great book.

Just when I thought this would be just an other story of teen fiction Pooja blew me up. What a touching story that made me think about my own family. This Book aspires for stars and easily achieves it. I just hope Pooja makes her second book longer, felt that the book ended pretty soon. Good luck new author.

    Every Indian Teen MUST read!

First I thought this book is small and how 'the real mission' can be told to the public. But after I finished reading, I was proved wrong. The story was amazing and I had to control my tears so hard (I was reading the book in school and I don't like to cry in front of people!) Also, I realised that only I felt the book to be small, my classmates found this itself lengthy, but decided to read it as they found me hooked up to it. Within days, all my classmates had finished reading the story fro...

A story I could relate to

I enjoyed the story a lot and I could relate to almost every single incident. I love the Sandheep character and I really really wish I had a friend like him in real life. Also, I realised the value of my mother after reading this book. It's really surprising how a 16-year can bring out various emotions in just 154 pages. Brilliant work! Please BUY your own copy of this book and read. We should all support wonderful first-time authors like her so they produce more works in the future!

    Recommended read for teens!

When I noticed that the writer was only 16, I didn't really expect much from the book. Yet, I decided to give it a try since the blurb seemed interesting. This book has now become one of my favorites! The story depicts a typical Indian family with a busy father, an over-tired mother and their 4 teenagers going through various things in their life, each facing their own battles. It gives an effective message to the youth of this country to respect their parents and siblings and cherish them as...

    a must read!

Really enjoyed reading The Real Mission! awesome job Pooja! You've transformed a straightforward story into an amazing read! This book very clearly projected what matters most in one's life. :') cuz in the end, its family and one's beloved that really matter. And I very unashamedly admit getting all teary-eyed while reading one of the chapters. This book is one of a kind where the reader actually connects with the characters. Frankly, you have exceeded my expectations of a debut author. Hopin...

    Excellent read!

I bought this book out of curiosity, after hearing about the book from the author herself(a 16 yr old!!), promoting it on Goodreads. It's been a very entertaining read!

I guess we can categorize this book's genre as a semi-philosophical teen fiction..Not sure I ever read such a thing during my teenage years!

The story revolves around a Mother and her 4 children(Karan, Aruna, Sandheep, and Sandhana). Theirs is a family as disjointed as a family can get, with each of the children having a pr...
