Reciprocity

A madman attempts to cleanse human life from the face of the Earth but fails to visualize how tenacious life is. Approximately 100,000 souls worldwide survive. One man in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of northern California battles warlords in a hostile world gone archaic. This man and ten other like-minded patriots band together determined to preserve liberty. His band consists of a farmer from Kansas, a fifteen-year-old girl, an elderly man and his granddaughter, a teenaged boy, a woman college professor, a middle-aged industrialist, his wife, a young woman, and a young student pilot. Vastly outnumbered by an ever-growing enemy, this little band of patriots is unexpectedly aided by a benign alien artificial intelligence.
