Red Gear HDMI Cable 3 mtrs

The cable got delivered within 72 hours. So no issues with Flipkart. The cable itself is of a very high quality and the nylon covering looks and feels very sturdy. The only thing i did not like was the metal socket on the cable that sticks out from my laptop. A simple, black socket would have been better. But if the HDMI socket is behind your laptop, then even that wouldn't be a problem, as it won't be in your sight :)

Otherwise very good quality cable, simply plugs and plays, no issues. Display works perfectly as well. I highly recommend it.

First of all Thanx to Flipkart for excellent packaging & delivery. The product was delivered in time by their own delivery system. The guy called up before delivery. The product is excellent as described. It has a nylon Jacket n the cable is not in round shape. It is flat belt shaped & both ends' sockets are Zinc Alloy Metal Shells covered which gives this product a little bit heavy & tough look. I have connected this 3 meter long cable easily with my LG 32" Full HD LCD TV & Sapphire Raedon HD 6670 1GB DDR5 3D Graphics Card desktop Computer system. The Result is just Stunning. The picture Quality is Superb in Full HD 1080p Resolution & Sound quality is Stunning (I have Philips 5.1 home theater system connected with my TV) in dolby digital pro logic II mode. I also have connected it with my Compaq Laptop & the result is same. No picture & sound distortion.
I think in this price tag the Product quality is superb in contrast with other hi-fi product offered by other company like Belkin. It is fully 1080p supported & if you have 3D TV & player then it will be your best companion as it also supports 3D (I regret as I don't have 3D TV). This HDMI Cable is 1.4 Version and supports Ethernet facility. This means if you have new generation Smart TV then you can also connect it to the existing LAN networking at your place & can enjoy online videos, net surfing & all internet stuffs. Recommended to all... 5 star product.

I have around 6 HDMI cables at various price points and the build quality on this one is as good, if not better than the ones I've paid a lot more for. Technically speaking, it's a digital transfer cable, so either it works or it doesn't (just like your USB cables, a cheap cable will work just as well as a fancy one). However, I don't mind paying a bit more for cables with better quality connectors as well as cable quality as they last longer, especially if you reconnect them often, and I'm extremely happy to get that at this price (Rs.679). I just might buy a few more for future use!

I did not buy from flipkart.

I hope many of you might not have used this past 6 months. Initially it was all good, I loved it, the connectors look rigid and more rugged. But recently my PS3 failed to connect 9\10 times. My PC connects all time with GTX 560 GPU but full of blurry display. Also it failed to connect many times to my Dell 24inch LCD. More days passed, more the frequency of this problem. Atlast the cable complelely stopped supporting 1080p resolution and my display was working with 720x576, lowest resolution and now it never connects. If I pull cable, it will display some noise in screen.

Later I found the reason that this cable is so stiff and has the capability to stretch and bend like a band into any shape you twist and be it. Also the 2 Mtr cable weighs heavy hence it all started to create internal wreck as it is bent slightly and it slowly popped up in over several months. Also the cable starting at both HDMI connector sockets bends down as there is no grip or a wrapper to cover. Take a look at belkin near the connector end, you will know.

This is not the human error (Installation error, ofcourse). The cable is rigid, but not flexible. A cable should be flexible, and it should not tend.
Now bought Belkin cables, which are good at the design level. Let me see for next 6 months.
KEY THINGS:
1) Cable starting from both Connector joints will soon wear out as it bends easily.(Compare Belkin)
2) Cable connector size is huge, making it trouble in connecting displays with less room for connector (Compare Belkin)
3) Cheaper than Belkin, hence poor quality. I remember like I purchased Belkin 1mtr for 550 Rs in chennai.
4) Belkin is a standard US company for cables and connectivity products only
5) Poor\damaged HDMi cable might cause trouble to your device, my PS3 heats abnormally at the HDMI connector socket if connected more than 10 mins.

Also try to buy cables as short as possible, it will help you solve problems in many case.
1) Occupies less space
2) Chances of damage to cables are less (less length, so less bend\cut)
3) no need to tie the rest of the cable to clear the messy table.
4) Less cost
5) reduce noise inducing in lengthy cables.

NEVER WORRY ABOUT SPENDING FEW MORE TO GET THEM
A Sony HDMI would even be better but costs > 2.5 K here at chennai.

This is cheap and awesome compared to other brands like belkin, works perfect with my hp laptop and 32" lcd screen

Not a single blurred area or anything, in my case, i didn't have to make any changes in the settings or resolution, it just happened and detected all that automatically

ROCKS...buy it if you want laptop stuff on lcd screen in HD quality...
