Sudeep Chakravarti, a popular Indian writer, is a journalist by profession.

Some of his other popular works are Highway 39: Journeys through a Fractured Land, The Avenue of Kings, Tin Fish, and Once Upon a Time in Aparanta.

He also contributes his writings for famous magazines and dailies like the AWSJ, Hindustan Times, The Outlook Group of Publications, Mint, Business World, Forbes, Die Zeit, OPEN and Rolling Stone. He acquired his graduation from the St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. His career as a journalist commenced with The Asian Wall Street Journal. Subsequently he also worked in senior positions for the Sunday, HT Media, and India Today. He is also a fellow member of the World Future Society, Washington. He is the co founder of an philanthropic organisation called Coastal Impact.
