Battery - comes with Li-Polymer. Most of the phones uses Li.ion these days and Li-Polymer batteries are sustainable to long battery life.

An excellent value for money
this is a very good phone for the money.
Pros-
-good HUGE display.
-good brightness.
-pre installed essential apps
- connect to USB devices directly!
cons-
- No head phones
-cheap plastic body at the back
- I did not get any other color casess.. :(
- camara is OK .
- IT LAGGED without installing any third party apps!!!
Will add more comments after using it for a month
but better than all phon...

Amazing Redmi...!!! Don't think, just Go for it...!
Pros:
Display - Bright-Large-wonderful resolution!
Touch - Super-smooth!
Body - Heavy and feels good and looks smart in a flip cover.. ;)
Cam - 5MP front cam is just amazing.... :) It takes better pic than expectation!
Processor - Octa-Core Processor...!!! is fast..V.fast! smooth as hot knife in butter.
RAM - As MiUi had taken already 700 MB space....

Amazing Phone
1) Screen - 5.5 HD - Superb performance , not at all less then high end sony phones
2) Front Camera - 5 MP - one of the best front cam I have used, compared it with Samsung Note 2 and it was batter then that
3) Rear Cam - 13 MP - Rear does good job indoor but does great job out door, surly you will be surprised to see the performance considering the cost.
4) Battery - Does 24 hours easily with 24x7 3g and on heavy cal...

Now speaking about the product, Xiaomi has built a killer in this price range!!
~ BRIGHT and CRISP display .. No issues in sunlight readability what so ever.
