Remington S1001 Hair Straightener

Hi All ...I have just got this a month ago. So this review is based on my use so far. i have thick south indian hair , not very curly but surely unruly. And this stnr works very good on my hair. This has just one setting. no knob to control temperature - so i strongly avice that people with thin soft hair should not buy this.
It heats up very fast ..30 sec or so. and you dont have to go over the hair again and again which was the problem with my previous philips stnr .

i love it. if your hair is thick then you can go for it.

I have curly hair like Emma Watson in Harry Potter :D so I wanted a straightener which will suit my hair. I have used various straighteners before but it didn't give me that poker straight hair and it took ages to get it straightened. So I did some research online and I found out that Remington was one of the best brands out there which are available in the Indian market. I was also looking for something below 2k so I bought it.

It takes only around 30 seconds to heat up which is very quick. It takes only 2 or 3 pulls per section to get the hair straight. And my shoulder-length hair is straightened within 45mins which is pretty cool because I'm very impatient.

This doesn't have temperature control, only an on/off switch. But it is really good for curly hair or thick wavy hair. Me being a curly-head girl who wishes for that lovely straight hair, recommend it 100% !!! But if you have naturally straight or thin hair, then it's better if you buy a straightener with temperature control because thin hair might get damaged quickly. But if you are buying any hair appliance on flipkart, then I recommend Remington !

Just got this product today, I m personally a big Remington fan. I love most of this brands product. They are good and they don`t damage for hair for real. Within 2 strokes your hair are perfectly straight, After using i m kind of happy. Plate are very small so its good for personal use only. Fast shipping. Got it before time.

Bad point :-(

The code(wire) is very short. You may require a extension board. Or else you have to stand close to switch.

The delivery guy took a toll over me. He was not able to find the address and kept on calling. Even refuse to move where he was standing. At last i had to send my aunt to show him my home. And he was kind of rude too. Please tell your delivery guy to be polite.

This is my second buy with flipkart. Good site to shop.
